The rice fields are disappearing!

One thing I really love about my little country town are the pretty green rice fields everywhere. Unfortunately, since summer is leaving and autumn is here, the rice is being harvested. So I've embarked on a quest to photograph as many green rice fields as I can before they're all barren and brown.

And so far I've failed.

But! I still got some great pictures:


The rice in these fields has already been harvested. (Actually, the field in the foreground of the last picture isn't even rice. Dunno what that is.) Fortunately, there's a really great view right out the window of my office, so when I go in on Friday I'm going to bring a camera.

So tune back in on Friday...or Saturday. I might be lazy and not post until then.
