Flower news

On the cherry blossom front...yeah, they're pretty much done. Every tree I've seen around town has lost either all of its blossoms or most of them. It was fun while it lasted. On the bright side, the ground around the trees is covered in pretty pink petals.

As for ikebana, here's my latest creation:

There are lots of flowers blooming around town now that it's spring--which is the last season I haven't experienced yet in Japan. Soon I'll have been here year-round.
